Seasoned Firewood

Wood: the hard fibrous material that forms the main substance of the trunk or branches of a tree or shrub, used for fuel or timber. Firewood is a renewable resource - it is energy from the sun stored by the tree as it grows. The burning of wood produces smoke that is harmful to the environment. Burning wood releases the same amount of carbon dioxide as it would for allowing the wood to rot on the forest floor. Undetected mold on firewood can produce airborne toxins, making inhaling unsafe. Give a man firewood he will be warm for a night Set a man on fire he will be warm for the rest of his life.

I dont normally submit reviews and I'm usually skeptical of the ones I read. That being said, I felt compelled to submit the following as my experience with Long Island Firewood was exceptional. Called me to ask if I would be avaliable today (earlier than quoted) to take delivery and when I said I wouldn't be home, I was told that if I was OK with it they'd handle everything. Took a chance and when I got home: precisely stacked, no stray pieces and quite honestly, looked liked more than what I ordered. Very professional and will recommend to my friends.

Ordered a cord. Pretty sure they gave me more than that. Well seasoned wood. I have a wood stove insert and "kiln dried" is way too dry and burns way too fast and hot wasting money and the efficiency of these units. Too much moisture is bad as well. This seasoned firewood is the perfect moisture level (used a probe) for wood stoves and inserts. Delivery is quick, great communication, will definitely be my go to for seasoned firewood.

Wood is well seasoned . It’s not hard to s tart and burns nicely.
